Jamayma Gecko Herbals was founded in 1999 by Barbara Korando to bring truly natural products to truly discriminating people.  We use only the highest quality ingredients--cold pressed organic oils, organic, ecologically harvested or ethically wildcrafted herbs rich with live plant energies and pure essential oils. We care about what goes on your skin and into your body.

We also care deeply about the health and beauty of the environment.  To that end, we keep packaging to a minimum and strive to use only environmentally friendly ingredients.

Barbara is a 2002 graduate of the Master Herbalist program with a Diploma in Herbal Studies from the Australasian College of Herbal Sciences in Lake Oswego, Oregon.  She formulates most of our products herself and tests them on eager friends and family.

We use no preservatives, fragrance oils, additives or artificial anything in our products.  All of our creations are made in small batches to ensure absolute freshness and all are hand-poured to guarantee the highest possible quality.  In fact, Cosmo (lower right) has been in charge of quality control since J Gecko's inception, and a fine job he's done, I might add.

Most of the herbs used are grown here in the magnificent Chelan Valley sunshine.  We recognize that plants are powerful and amazing allies and gratefully accept all they have to share with us.

And most of all, we enjoy the fantastic journey that comes with being connected to the earth, grounded, and yet free to explore a thousand new horizons through the people we meet and the delicious connections that we make.
